Abstract

Integrated Manufacturing Systems Troubleshooting (IMST) Level II, also referred to as the Mechatronics Capstone, is a competency-based course that presents students with a series of lectures, exercises and troubleshooting labs. The function of the Capstone is for students to demonstrate proficiency in their IMST skills, using the training gained in areas such as Print Reading, PLC to Robot Interfacing, Troubleshooting, Remote I/O, and Sequence Diagrams. The IMST Level II materials were developed by specialized subject matter experts, Glenn Wisniewski and Weston Bye.
