The Connecticut Health & Life Sciences TAACCCT consortium engaged statewide and local employers to help shape and implement this grant. This included a review of proposed curricula and recommendations for program structure that reflects the Healthcare and Science sectors in the State of Connecticut. The consortium also engaged advisory boards at each member college to solicit input and recommendations for this initiative.

The Emergency Medical Technician Paramedic Certificate program is designed to prepare students to provide pre-hospital emergency medical care to those individuals needing advanced life support.
