Abstract

"This learning objects briefly describes the structure and function of different parts of a neuron. Topics include 1) the basic flow of information in the nervous system from receptors to effectors, as well as 2) the three main parts of a neuron including dendrite, soma, and axon and brief overview of their function. The learning object also includes a brief quiz as well as a labeling exercise.
