Advisory Group members contribute to the design, development and delivery of CTE courses including those developed through this TAACCCT grant. The members also provide opportunities for work-based learning and job placements for program graduates.

Abstract
This course presents an introduction to the field of horticulture, a holistic survey of the industry with exposure to careers and career paths in horticulture; basic and applied plant science, including anatomy, physiology and functions of plants; and horticultural practices such as greenhouse and nursery production, floriculture, fruit and vegetable production, landscape design and installation. Throughout the course, there is an emphasis on sustainability and emerging “green” industry practices.

The content can be accessed by opening the IMSCC file using your organization's Learning Management System application (these include Blackboard, D2L, Canvas etc.).
