Abstract

Savannah Technical College and Strengthening Community Colleges Grant Consortium members worked statewide across the Technical College System of Georgia to ensure that each resource completed via grant funding received a thorough peer review evaluation by affiliated faculty, school or system administrators, or subject matter experts employed by industry partners. The peer review process was implemented in several distinct phases, including: 1.) an initial project analysis phase, in which SMEs and instructional designers defined learner needs and learning objectives, 2.) the project development phase, led by the grant’s instructional designer, 3.) sharing project drafts with selected peer reviewers, and 4.) a revision phase, after which a pilot program was conducted. A grant-funded program was considered final after the pilot program was run and feedback from that was incorporated to the curriculum.
