Abstract

These two courses comprise the college's CompTIA information technology certification curricula. For System Maintenance, individuals will have the knowledge required to assemble components based on customer requirements, install, configure and maintain devices, PCs and software for end users, understand the basics of networking and security, properly and safely diagnose, resolve and document common hardware and software issues while applying troubleshooting skills. For Network Maintenance, the course prepares a student for the CompTIA Network+ exam that will certify that the student has the knowledge and skills required to implement a defined network architecture with basic network security.
