Abstract

Quality Measurement and Improvement are important in the meaningful use of heath care data, and as such are starting to rely heavily on HIT. Certain aspects of quality measurement and quality improvement are mandated by the HITECH Act, ACA, or Medicare/Medicaid regulations, so it is important for students to see how policy impacts their clinical practice. These activities, assessments and resources are targeted toward clinical students.
