Abstract

The Emergency Medicine Paramedic A.S. degree program is designed to prepare students to assume management level careers in pre-hospital administration. The program of study includes the paramedic studies courses as well as the general educational courses in order to receive the Associate's Degree. If a student does not want to pursue an Associate's Degree and complete the general education courses, then that student can receive a Paramedic Certification. Both the Paramedic A.S. degree and the Paramedic Certification contain the same paramedic studies courses.
