Abstract

"This learning object covers six steps of the scientific method: 1) Observation, 2) Question, 3) Hypothesis, 4) Prediction, 5) Experiment, and 6) Revise and Repeat. Included are details explaining each step and example questions for each step along with scientific theory. The characteristics of the scientific theory further explain the details of the systematically organized knowledge of principles and procedures used to analyze, predict, or explain a class of phenomena. When you have completed your review of the module, try the self-assessment to check your knowledge. This learning object is part 1 of 24 parts that comprise the General Biology 1 course.
