Abstract

Personal Care Worker is a 40 hour non-credit certificate course preparing participants for entry-level employment as personal care workers in a health care setting. Responsibilities include personal care of the client, maintaining a safe environment,and understanding legal and ethical consideration regarding healthcare. This will be achieved through a combination of theory time and laboratory skills practice.
