Abstract

HIT:510 Healthcare IT Support instructional resources; required course in the Healthcare IT Technician Certificate of Specialization program of study. Students will learn to implement, deploy, and support Health IT systems in various clinical settings. This course covers regulatory requirements, healthcare terminology, practice workflow, code of conduct standards, and security best practices. At the completion of this capstone course, students are prepared for the Health Information Technology portion of the CompTIA Healthcare IT Technician Certificate.
