Abstract
This course provides an introduction to sustainable resource management within the context of sustainability. Basic principles and practices will be examined from both historical and contemporary perspectives. Students will compare and contrast various disposal options, and will consider the role of government in sustainable resource management. Markets which use recovered products will be examined and evaluated. Students will be introduced to career options in sustainable resource management.
