Abstract
HealthCARE Montana is providing a free, four-module training program based on a survey of healthcare facilities across the state. Employers shared that communication, professionalism, leadership and conflict resolution are often soft skills deficit areas among their entry-level employees, so we created the LEAD program to address this training need.
The LEAD program is designed to help employees gain awareness of their thoughts and actions, and how those impact those around them, with the overall goal of creating a positive and productive work environment. The program is delivered in staff huddles or meetings through brief daily cards on these topics.
