The Connecticut Health & Life Sciences TAACCCT consortium engaged statewide and local employers to help shape and implement this grant. This included a review of proposed curricula and recommendations for program structure that reflects the health care and Science sectors in the State of Connecticut. The consortium also engaged advisory boards at each member college to solicit input and recommendations for this initiative.

Abstract
This product contains comprehensive materials for the assessment of Prior Student Learning to assist educational institutions, employers and individuals. It includes assessment tools, outreach materials, PowerPoints, videos, questionnaires and reference materials for the development of PLA portfolios. This product also includes Connecticut Credit Assessment Program materials. Through the Connecticut Credit Assessment Program non-credit programs are evaluated to determine if the training offered is equivalent to learning acquired at regional accredited colleges.
