Abstract
This brief module is designed to give students a quick review of the basic topics and terms in chemistry. It highlights the following basic terms: mass, element, atom, molecule, and compound. In addition, it provides a brief overview of ionic and covalent bonds, chemical formulas, measurements of acidity and alkalinity (PH), solvent vs. solute, and osmosis and diffusion.
