Abstract

Digital Forensics 1 is designed to provide students with an introductory understanding of the approach to investigating information technology security incidents and systems breaches. Students will learn to pinpoint threats, identify and recover evidence, and perform forensic analysis and documentation. Students will also analyze prior breaches. Students will be most successful in this course if they have a good understanding of computer hardware, software, and networking.
