The Connecticut Health & Life Sciences TAACCCT consortium engaged statewide and local employers to help shape and implement this grant. This included a review of proposed curricula and recommendations for program structure that reflects the health care and Science sectors in the State of Connecticut. The consortium also engaged advisory boards at each member college to solicit input and recommendations for this initiative.

Abstract
This program of study prepares student to obtain employment as a Dental Assistant in private dental practices, specialty practices or public health clinics. Graduates will assist during dental procedures, expose dental radiographs, perform laboratory procedures, and assist with front office duties.
