Abstract
This is a Blackboard course template for fundamentals of medical coding concepts. This course was created using primarily a coding text book with workbook activities to enhance the learning process, which are sited within the Blackboard template. The final course is currently used by our CAHIIM accredited program and adheres to the State of Florida Educational Frameworks for the health information management core.
