Abstract
This course provides an introduction to the electromagnetic spectrum, photo diodes, photo transistors, op amps, and fiber optic systems. Basic applications of CMOS & TTL ICs in audio, oscillator, and fiber-optic control circuits are covered. Course offers a look into optical couplings, optical isolation, optical drivers, light curtains, and the basics of fiber cables. Transmitting and receiving of digital/analog information using fiber optic cable will also be presented.
