Abstract
The purpose of this course is to introduce students to the basic theory Heavy Equipment Air Conditioning Systems. Students are instructed in the proper use of troubleshooting equipment and techniques. DESL 1670 Heavy Equipment A/C Systems is a required course to obtain an Associates of Applied Science Degree or Certificate of Completion in Diesel Technology. This class meets twice a week, 3 hours a day for 8 weeks. This is a 2 credit class that spends 1 hour in a classroom and 2 hours in the lab doing hands on troubleshooting. Homework is assigned before classes and materials are designed to help the student understand the subject matter of that particular class.
