Abstract
This course covers the design, implementation and testing of webbased applications including related client and serverside programming languages, databases, interfaces and using digital media. Following an introduction to the underlying web protocols and technologies, students will learn to create dynamic web applications that perform a variety of serverside programming functions, such as HTML forms and database processing. The course also covers social, ethical and security issues arising from the expanding use of webbased applications.
