The Connecticut Health & Life Sciences TAACCCT consortium engaged statewide and local employers to help shape and implement this grant. This included a review of proposed curricula and recommendations for program structure that reflects the Healthcare and Science sectors in the State of Connecticut. The consortium also engaged advisory boards at each member college to solicit input and recommendations for this initiative.

Abstract
This program of study prepares students for entry-level technician positions in the fields of environmental science, toxicology and forensic science. It also prepares them to continue their studies beyond the certificate to receive a two- or four-year degree.
