Abstract

The Justice Equity + Tech Lab sponsors social impact projects, a social worker-in-residence internship, tech and justice clinics, an in-residence community expert fellowship and youth community consultants, and a partner emerging tech consortium. The primary focus of our award was to expand the activities of the Justice, Equity + Tech Laboratory at Columbia Social Work (SW) to strengthen relationships with individuals and organizations working in public interest technology as well as establish mechanisms for integrating other voices that are critical for developing and using technologies to support are a more equitable society. The grant activities focused heavily on pedagogical, student training development and infrastructure initiatives within and beyond Columbia.
