Abstract
This course is designed to facilitate the transition of licensed practical nurses in becoming associate degree registered nurses. Topics include the role and competencies of the nursing student and graduate; the philosophy and conceptual framework of the nursing profession; and selected historical, ethical, and legal aspects of the nursing profession.
