CPCC created an Industrial Advisory Committee to connect the employers and industry associations to the process of competency review and validation and credential alignment. The committee also offered input on program restructuring and technologies to incorporate into digital content. Included employers were Blum, Daetwyler, Groninger, Pfaff and Siemens.

Abstract

This course introduces the principles of industrial safety. Emphasis is placed on industrial safety and OSHA regulations. Upon completion, students should be able to demonstrate knowledge of a safe working environment and OSHA compliance. Content ZIP files are SCORM v1.2 format and are intended to be uploaded into a learning management system. Follow instructions in the “Uploading Modules” document below to upload the files into a Blackboard Shell. If using a different learning management system, please refer to your learning management system instructions for importing SCORM packages.
