Abstract
The purpose of this multiple choice quiz is to orient, quiz, and assess the student’s knowledge of writing resumes and cover letters. These questions have been converted for use outside Second Life. Second Life is an online virtual world, developed by Linden Lab. The virtual world can be accessed freely via Linden Lab's own client programs, or via alternative Third Party Viewers. We have chosen to use Second Life to allow students access to our "island" or virtual land to participate in activities that align with their classes. Examples of these activities include exploring potential jobs in related careers, interactive quizzes, lectures, workshops, study groups, and more. If you would like to obtain a copy of the build of the Second Life environment or answer key for the quiz, please contact: Dan Davidchik, Project Manager, 402-562-1408, ddavidchik@cccneb.edu, or Sue Baer, Administrative Assistant, 402-562-1425, sbaer@cccneb.edu.
