Advisory Group members contribute to the design, development and delivery of CTE courses including those developed through this TAACCCT grant. The members also provide opportunities for work-based learning and job placements for program graduates.

Abstract
This course provides students with a background in sustainable landscape features and practices, such as soil and water conservation; appropriate plant selections, use of fertilizers and pesticides with an emphasis on organic materials; reduced use of fossil fuels; infrastructure enhancements such as green roofs and xeriscaping. Common landscape practices that have an adverse effect on the environment and solutions to these situations will also be examined. (Xeriscape and the xeriscape logo are registered trademarks of Denver Water, the water department of Denver, Colorado).
