Abstract

The Survey of Health Careers was created to work with students who are interested in a career in Health Care. The course is designed to teach about the many careers in health care, to assist the students in determining what career is the best fit for them. The students also learn how to research the training they will need, how to apply to a health care professional training program after researching several programs, and how much it will cost to complete their goals. There is work on developing personal and professional goals, creating a career plan as well as learning about burnout and developing a self-care plan.
