Abstract
This course cartridge contains material that introduces students to the wind power generation industry. Topics covered will include physics of wind energy, various sizes and types of wind turbines, reading wind maps for finding the best wind locations. Students will also engage in discussions of the impact of the wind industry on social, environmental, economic, and political issues.
