Abstract

Health IT is becoming more common in healthcare systems, and more integrated. It�۪s common for equipment to send and share data with a provider via the EMR, so understanding how these system can operate together is a growing skill in the clinic. The following activities, assessments and discussions are targeted towards helping clinical students see how HIT systems impact their practice.
