Abstract

This is a lesson plan on taking vital signs for adult learners who are exploring health-related careers in a non-credit course called Connections to Careers in Health. This is one of 10 modules in the course which contextualizes English and Math for entry level health careers. In addition to the lesson plan, Module 10, this resource has a document that lists the monitoring equipment needed for the lesson, links to two videos, a power point used to guide discussion, an outline view of the power point in a word document, a student handout used for the lesson, and the brand, make, and model of the human simulator used.
