Abstract

This 2 credit course provides students with an understanding of some of the common mental and behavioral health issues and chronic diseases that they are likely to encounter as Community Health Workers. This class in population-based health topics was developed to align with the educational requirements proposed for certification as a Community Health Worker by the Massachusetts Department of Public Health.
