The Connecticut Health & Life Sciences TAACCCT consortium engaged statewide and local employers to help shape and implement this grant. This included a review of proposed curricula and recommendations for program structure that reflects the Healthcare and Science sectors in the State of Connecticut. The consortium also engaged advisory boards at each member college to solicit input and recommendations for this initiative.

Abstract
This curriculum is appropriate for current EKG technicians seeking certification in this field. Students learn key health care patient and customer service concepts that enable them to explore real life scenarios in classroom and clinical learning environments.
