Abstract
The DACUM methodology was used to modify and validate RVCC's Medical Assistant Certificate. DACUM is an acronym for developing a curriculum. It is a one or two day storyboarding process that provides a picture of what the worker does in terms of duties, tasks, knowledge, skills, traits, abilities and tools. The information provides the needed detailed information to develop a curriculum that addresses employer requirements.
