Abstract

COURSE DESCRIPTION: HVC 106 Comfort Heating Systems 4 credits This course is a study of various comfort heating systems used in residential and light commercial applications. Steam, hydronic and warm air systems as well as hybrid systems will be analyzed. We will explore the diverse fuel choices and their relationship to overall system performance and efficiency. The Massachusetts Fire Protection Regulations as well as The Massachusetts Fuel Gas Code will be introduced. Prerequisite: HVC 101 and HVC 102. Blackboard Export.
