Abstract

This is a collection of course material for Welding I, II, III, and Certification Prep. These courses introduce the learner to the world of welding. The courses include general shop safety and environmental issues; introduction to oxygen/fuel gas supply systems, the oxyfuel cutting process, the carbon arc cutting and gouging process, the plasma arc cutting process, the SMAW (Shielded Metal Arc-Welding) process, the GMAW (Gas Metal Arc Welding) process, the FCAW (Flux Core Arc Welding) process, and welding symbols.
