Abstract
This NANSLO lab activity is self-contained and can be used as a histology lab activity in biology, anatomy and physiology, and pathophysiology courses. In this activity, prepared slides of connective tissue are examined and compared to identify characteristics specific to that tissue. The lab activity includes background information on histology itself and what connective tissues do, their composition, and types of connective tissue, pre-lab exercises, lab exercises, and summary questions.
