Abstract

The report summarizes how to elevate Public Interest Technology (PIT) careers by expanding real-world experiences that enable Stanford students to imagine careers focused on using technology to benefit policy and forge solutions to pressing social and environmental issues. Our overarching goal is to ensure that interested students have options throughout their time at Stanford, feel prepared to engage in PIT work, and have meaningful opportunities to pursue their chosen path after graduation
