American Welding Society and multiple welding employers across the state of Iowa were consulted. We worked in partnership with AWS to develop our plans for the curriculum development. Employers across the state were surveyed about welding positions to ensure alignment to needs. Local colleges also consulted with employers in their regions to determine implementation of developed courses.
