Abstract

This industry-specific workforce program prepares individuals for entry-level positions in Health Information Technology in local health-care facilities. This course is designed for the student who wants to start or advance a career in healthcare information technology and serves as a foundation for preparing for and passing the Healthcare Information and Management Systems (CAHIMS) Exam. This training program is held over an eight week period and involves 60 clock hours of coursework.
