The committee also offered input on program restructuring and technologies to incorporate into digital content. Included employers were Blum, Daetwyler, Groninger, Pfaff and Siemens.

Abstract

This course covers motors concepts, construction and characteristics and provides a foundation in motor controls. Topics include motor control ladder logic, starters, timers, overload protection, braking, reduced voltage starting, SCR control, AC/DC drives, system and component level troubleshooting. Upon completion, students should be able to specify, connect, control, troubleshoot, and maintain motors and motor control systems. Content ZIP files are SCORM v1.2 format and are intended to be uploaded into a learning management system. Follow instructions in the “Uploading Modules” document below to upload the files into a Blackboard Shell. If using a different learning management system, please refer to your learning management system instructions for importing SCORM packages.
