Abstract

The Massage Therapy and Bodywork Program is an entry level Course in the Science and Art of ‘Skilled Touch.’ This course is for those interested in becoming a Licensed Massage Therapist or for Health Care Providers desiring to learn somatic manual therapy applications. The Massage Therapy and Bodywork Program prepares graduates to provide manipulation of soft tissue for symptom relief of pain, anxiety, stress, muscle strain while promoting wellness and health. Employment opportunities may be found in: Private Practice, Medical Massage, Home Care, Rehabilitation, Hospitals, Chiropractic Offices, Clinics & Franchises, Spas, Resorts, Cruise Ships, On Location Chair Massage Upon successful completion of the Massage and Bodywork Program students are eligible to take the MBLEx Exam before applying for a New Jersey Massage License.
