Abstract

Patient simulations used to enhance the training of students in medical and other professions are now used in training students in communication sciences and disorders. Virtual simulated clients are one of the various types of simulations. This paper describes how SimuCase client simulations, by SpeechPathology.com, are utilized in the training of speech-language pathology assistants (SLPAs) at Mitchell Technical Institute (MTI).
