Abstract

This course serves to develop a working knowledge of the principles and procedures of phlebotomy, to produce accurate, skilled phlebotomists with strong ethical and professional values. This course is designed to provide students with the theoretical and introductory technical skills required of a phlebotomist. It will focus on skill development in the performance of a variety of blood collection methods using proper techniques and standard precautions.
