Abstract
Entry-Level. This 525-hour course will focus on the essentials of becoming an entry-level Welder. Classroom time will encompass work and shop safety, welding theory, material identification, equipment selection and setup, blueprint reading/shop drawings, welding symbol interpretation, measuring, and related math. Lectures will be taught using a combination of visual aids, presentations, textbooks, videos, and current industry literature. Class structure consists of 20% Classroom (lecture, theory) and 80% demonstration and hands-on training.
