Abstract
Virginia Western Community College offers a QuickConnect Microsoft Office Specialist Training Program. There is a 14 week program that contains courses in Basic Math, Customer Service, Employment Readiness Skills, and preparation for the Microsoft Office Specialist certifying exam in 2010 Word, Excel, PowerPoint. VWCC also offers a 2 week add on to the program which includes a healthcare focus. Courses focus on intrducing students to Health Information Management, Medical Coding, Medical Terminology, and HIPPA.
Included in this upload are three documents. There are one-page flyers for each of the MOS Training Programs used to recruit students to the program and encourage area employers to consider program completers for open jobs. There is also a sample schedule outlining the topics covered through the program.
