Abstract

This course introduces the fundamental elements of tower modification. Topics include structural modifications to existing towers, foundation modifications to the base of a tower, guy anchors, guy wire replacement for existing towers and diagonal/horizontal bracing replacement. Module Topics: What is Tower Modification?, Extent of Modifications, Modification of Approval Process, Determine Modifications, Build a Scope of Work, Bill of Materiasl Materials include interactive lessons and simulations, quizzes, and, discussion questions. The lessons, simulations, and quizzes are in zipped files that can be imported to an LMS as SCORM Content or opened (If viewing without uploading to an LMS- unzip the file, and click story_html5.html).
