Abstract

This is the second of two courses that introduce the basics of Linux system management and prepare students to earn the CompTIA Linux+, Linux Professional Institute LPIC-1 Linux Server Professional and the SUSE Certified Linux Administrator certifications. Students learn how to customize and use the shell environment, write scripts, configure user interfaces, perform administrative tasks, configure essential system services, configure networking and secure the system.
