Abstract
Using Neehr Perfect software, which is a simulated environment of an Electronic Health Record (EHR), the student will be introduced to systems and processes for collecting, maintaining and disseminating primary and secondary health-related information, including content of health record, documentation requirements, registries, indices, licensing, regulatory agencies, forms and screens. The goal in utilizing this software is to help the student achieve an understanding of concepts used in the day-to-day operations of various healthcare settings and the importance of Electronic Health Records and how these systems are utilized.
