Abstract
In response to a growing demand from the manufacturing industry for qualified machine maintenance personnel, the Machine Maintenance Program and Certificate curriculum was created to provide workers with the fundamental knowledge and basic skills necessary to successfully enter this field and meet these needs.
This credential is made up on the following Shoreline Community College courses: MFGT 244, MFGT 245, MFGT 246, MFGT 247, MFGT 248, and MFGT 249. The MFGT 245 curriculum content is aligned with the U.S. Department of Labor Occupational Safety and Health Administration OSHA 10 Certificate and the MFGT 244 and 246 through 249 curriculum content is aligned with National Institute of Metalworking Skills credentialing criteria.
